I have small feet. Only a size 2. And to add to that I have flat feet so walking in heals is something I just can't do. Can do it for night out etc but as I walk everywhere I just cannot walk everywhere on heals.

But I cannot find flat comfortable shoes to fit me anywhere. I have trawled the shoe shops, the children's departments, the internet, and the only shoes I can find either have heals, or are hidious. (found some leopard print ones for £130 shock).

am I the only person in the world that has small feet and wants comfortable shoes? because it bloody seems like it.

Have you tried duo? They're specialist in width fittings - for the first time ever I got knee high boots to fit me over the winter! They do shoes in different widths too.

Hobbs used to do them, my feet grew to size 3 when I was pregnant with DD so I haven't tried Hobbs recently, hope to get pregnant again soon maybe I'll go up to a size 4 wink.

I have a size 2 foot. I agree it is a total nightmare. We have a store called Staccato near us and their shoes start at a 2. They are lovely shoes as well (some can be a bit pricey though).
Otherwise it's trainers and plimsolls for me (from the kids dept less VAT!! wink)

I am learning to love Thomas the Tank Engine slippers smile

Seriously, do look at kids shoes - they often go up to a 5 & no tax!

Have you tried the children's section of Next? (The range in the catalogue/website is better than the range in the shop.)

I quite like their styles and have bought shoes from their children's section several times, despite having large feet. Most of their girls' shoes actually go all the way up to adult size 7! And they're cheaper than the similar adult styles because you avoid VAT.

Bally have their factory shop in Norwich. Really nice paying single figures for a pair that has a three figure price on the box grin

I wish I had small feet envy. I'm 5 foot 3 and my feet are size 8. I look like a clown!

Oh I feel like I've finally come home. I'm 5'1 and a size seven. Also look like a clown. Plus my feet are wide at the front and narrow at the back.

Why do shoe manufacturers seem to think that heels are the same width as toes?

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
