There's just no way to pull them off without making a mess. If you'll excuse the double entendre... [smut emoticon]

And if when you open the fridge door, something falls out every time, does it mean your fridge is badly arranged or just that universe is against you today?

Am having a BAD day.

top tip is to open with the ring pull part facing the wall & then only the wall is covered

Don't you always open the ring pull away from you?

aprons, they're a good idea too.

think my bad day might have caused by me being an idiot.

Still, DS1 emptying his juice cup all over the kitchen floor definitely wasn't my fault. Or was it?

Never use them. Always open with safety tin opener whatever the sort of tin.

So, notes to self:

- buy tomatoes in Sainsburys
- wear apron
- and use tin opener, no matter what.

Now what about the fact that my fridge hates me? grin

thanks ladies, you've cheered me up.
