Morning Luda

How was last night? Hope you had fun.

I've been working all week (typical when the weather has been so gorgeous!) and have to work again today

No FLYing what-so-ever but I hope to catch up again next week.

Hope everyone is well, I haven't caught up - will try to have a read through this evening if I get the chance.

bye for now x

Feeling very fragile this morning! I did my famous trick of getting waaaaay to drunk before we even left the house! Any memory of the first half of the evening is therefore quite sketchy....I ate a hot dog at some point, and was then very ill blush but then sobered up completely, so the second half of the evening was better (except my feet were absolutely killing me and once sober I felt the pain!)
My 2 friends didn't fair much better....we must have looked sooo queer.

The sugarbabes didn't turn up, but they gave £10 of drink tokens out as an apology.
The vengaboys were good! Goldie lookin chain were just very noisy LOL
Bjorn again were good, but my feet ached so much I couldn't dance any more!

Up at 7am this morning, as DH is marshalling a rally all day today.

Washing galore, have to do the beds today. DD1 was sick last night in my absense so DH obviously just did what needed doing but left a pile of towels and pyjamas for me to deal with hmm

Hi all
10 mins of homework with dd has taken 2 1/4 hours! She gets herself into a complete frenzy, as do I. I am totally fed up with it really. We are spending so much time making the house nice, and the girls bedrooms nice I start to feel perhaps we are not focusing on her, but we have had extra curric activities and nice meals in the garden, and decorating their rooms. I am trying to work out whether she is spoiled or over indulged. She is lovely so long as she can do whatever she wants!

Sorry to ramble on - seems to be the same moan from me atm. aaaragh! Neighbours will be calling social services!

DH agrees so I don't know whether she is genuinely being a brat, or whether we are ganging up on her.

I am just trying to work myself up to change all the beds....I cannot be bothered!!! Has to be done though.....

Hiya All

We have been busy here this morning.

EHM I cleaned our BBQ this morning. We are hoping to have a small BBQ later for tea.

Bianca My xp2 used to moan about having to work in the week when the weather was great but when he was home at weekends it would either be raining or cloudy. On good weekends he said it always seemed he had to work indoors.

RR When you say DD is ok as long as she is getting her own way is just like DS1 can be. Then it went down hill from there are even when he could do "whatever" he wanted he would still kick off. We could not win. He is much better now as long as he takes his meds.

Jas I find when I try and get shoes for DS2 that they dont have his size in stock and end up having to wait for stock to come in. The "Borrowers* have the padding pools. winkgrin I cant find our air pump. I know its here somewhere as we used it at Christmas time to blow up an air bed. I put it somewhere safe. So safe I dont remember where it is.blush

I better get some lunch ready. DC are all happy outside playing. It nearly seems a shame to call them in for lunch.

Hi everyone,

DD and I managed to make some jam tarts this morning. We had run out of nearly everything and she was hungry blush. Supermarket shop just delivered and put away. We've just watched Gladiators, Takeshi's castle and are now watching Raven. I am trying to distract her from going outside as it is too hot and her scabs mean I cant get sun cream on her.

DD2 is alseep. Not sure what I'm going to do with them this afternoon, but I have promised DD1 she can stay up and watch Britain's got talent with me tonight. She saw it last week when ill and really like it. blush I promise I do more than watch tv with DD1....

Ruby - a friend told me a while ago that 2-3 times a year her daughter has a 3-4 week patch of 'awfulness'. Where she is sulky, rude, angry etc. Just as you begin to think that you woulkd win "worst parent of the year" they snap out of it. I have found this with DD1. And it makes me feel much better to know that a) it will pass and b) it is not my fault.

I have woken with a migraine angry I have been getting lots of them lately. Luckily I have a new prescription tablet that takes the worst away.

FGS Hurrah for the clean kitchen!! I could do with mine staying clean!

Dylsmum my feet still hurt!! They are getting better though thanks smile

Ruby my email address is ludaloo @ lycos dot com. Mail me, and I'll mail you back my address smile Thank you smile

Well I have finally managed to save a little bit of money to buy the kids some new clothes. They all need summer stuff. DD1 is the most needy, she doesn't have even one pair of shorts, and she only has two pairs of trousers, one of which are so big we have to roll the tops over....then she has two t-shirts and a few long sleeve tops, but the sleeves are half way up her arm and fit DD2 better than they fit her!blush poor lamb! we have had to rotate the three full outfits she has all winter, and now the summer is here she has absolutely nothing!
The other two are ok as they have a lot of hand me downs.
So my mission for today is to spend some cash!

Just hoping no one is sick, as dh has gone to work so can't stay at home with them while I go.

not sure what else to do to stop his behaviour ,although was seriously tempted to slap him yesterday he was that bad. blush very unlike me i dont smack. think he realised he'd pushed me too far as he got in the car and was quiet for ages and then said sorry. not been too bad since so fingers crossed my thunder face worked!

Tort - try and find the source - we had a small hole under out stairs cupboard. Mice had chewed one of my hessian bags and we found more droppings. This was only after we had gone mad at the cat for bringing in his 10th mouse - and all the time hed beeen catching them from inside. If you can find where they are coming from then you can block the hole.

Hello ALL

Many thanks for the congrats to Ed, he's well proud of himself and was so chuffed that the 'Cars Fairy' had been to leave him Dusty and Rusty Rusteeze and Mia and Tia grin

Was unable to get on yesterday, internet access issues sadly (sad I felt like I'd had a part of me lobbed off, no net, no MSN, no eBay, no E-mails nothing, what the hell did I do before Broadband and a Laptop?blush)

I hve been busyish, Yesterday I clean downstairs, mopped the bathroom, stripped and remade our bed. Today I'v e repositioned the greenhouses, re-organised the patio area, prunned shrubs, swept the patio and garden, repaired the wobbly greenhouse, hung out washing and done a huge pile of ironing in the garden.

To Do

Writing with Ed
Talk DH into a barbeque
Clothes out for morning
Lunchboxes for morning
Water tubs
Put ironing away

It's just lovely and sunny here, I hope this keeps up for the summer wink

hi
hope you catch the bleeder son TORT i hate mice they make me cry blush

go you've been very busy

i went over to dockside got dd her sandals they are lovely. also bought her a new summer dress- its gorgeous cant wait to put it on her. a alice band to go with the dress and myself some new sunglasses.
have just got back froom nanny and grandads with dd. ds is being delivred home in an hour or so. glad to say he's been very good today a great improvement on yesterday grin
but unfortunaelty dd had massive tantrum which is why i'm home already. ds painted a bird box last summer for at nannys house and he now has baby birds in it but also meant their was some wet poo in the garden which dd found before any of us so i had to take off her yucky football kit and put on a dress, she didnt agree with me doing this and threw a tantrum which went on foreversad, i decided i'd had enough and bought her home as she was tired. she's now asleep and i have peace its lovely. i have tidyed the kitchen sorted out the washing i have got dry on the clothes horse ironed it and out away. everywhere (almost) is tidied. its so much esasir when no children here messing it up or behind me mummying.
i still need to clear the living room coffee table off and then clean the bathroom then i can get down to some proper cleaning hmm

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
