Morning all

Thank Chrunchie too. I am shattered, DS1 was up in the night again and SH slept in

Well morning routine is completed and I have done the mission.

I have also planted some peas with DS1 and we have watered all the plants.

DH was explaining last night about our recycling and rubbish collections, so we have stood outside and watched the bin men, who came and explained it to DS1 too - how nice

We are off to music and movement this morning. I have warned them if it is anything like last week we are straight home.

Then back for lunch
DS1 to preschool
DS2 for nap
Ironing
General clean for the weekend
Friends over for tea and playdate

DS1 has just spilt his SQUASH all over himself - bad mummy alert.

They have very little crap, so a little squash is not the end of the world

Hello to anyone I've missed

Bit of a steady day for me today. I didn't get on to the site yesterday, DH busy at work so single mum time for me last night. Then I woke up at 3:45 and didn't get back off properly. Dentist gave me Anti-Bs to deal with a wisdom tooth flare up sad AF arrived yesterday too (2 Days early hmm) so I am not pushing it at all. The house is acceptable so, why push it?

Plus the next door neighbour had a go at me downtown about something I had nothing to do with shock I just walked away with her ranting behind me. Bit frosty on the yard this morning but it's her problem, not mine.

Done my morning routines and went to coffee morning, came home and ...errr...that's it really. To Do is get Ed and DH is home at 5

Take it easy.....

Afternoon all

I have managed to get the ironing done and the house is tidyish.

I am going to leave the mopping of the floor to later this evening, as I know the boys will be in the sand this afternoon and it goes everywhere.

I am planning to get some potting up done next, just having a 15 min break.

Hi all
sh0pping yesterday was disaster as dd wet herself! Bought dinner and came home.
So went today instead, which was faily painless.

Really need to clean floors, but hard to get going with children in and out of house and garden.

The dc and I don't cope with sun very well,so I'm happy to be in my nice cool house. We'll go out in the evening when it is a bit cooler.

Glad to see youare having a day "off" GO

envy @ all the clothes shopping.

I'd love to go out but all our money is going on getting the cars sorted out this monthsad The other one failed its MOT and we can't pay fo it to be done until next week when (if) dp gets paid, but in the mean time he is driving the Jag to kent every day, and used a whole tank of petrol in two daysshock

Ah well, the dds have both invited friends over for Saturday tea, so that should keep them happy at minimal expense this weekend.

I'm making progress on the bedrooms, too, but losing motivation, so I'm going to leave the rest and get the girls to help me after school.

Hello again

I tidied Ed's room and set up his car mat, potted up my plants from B&Q went to Ed's Friday assembly, picked him up then we went to the park, round the lake, home along the old train line and a shower for a mucky Ed. 3hrs and no FLYing!

Ed bless him had a good week at school (yipee) He hasn't sat on the 'thinking chair' all week (a first that one) and he got the weeks lunchtime award for being polite, well behaved and making healthy choices. After last week's turmoil I am really proud of him. Well done Ed!

Signing off for the week, should be about tomorrow smile

Evening everyone

I have had a quick read of todays "Thank Crunchie its Friday" thread . I would rather have a Twix though grin

Sorry Jas I hate it and get very envy when they show clothes on programmes like GMTV and This Morning. They always say "Only" and then the price is much much more than I can afford to pay.hmm

Its the first lot of clothes I have got in the last 2 and a half years. (apart from socks) I had to get some more as I would have nothing to wear. Need to start saving again now.

Did you get anything Tort?

We have a few seeds just started growing on the last 3 days. When we first moved here (end of last year) there were some dead sunflowers. We just put them with loads of other garden waste on some waste ground where a bonfire had been. Now we have loads and loads of sunflowers growing. Well I think they are sunflowers. They have only just started growing and have 2 leafs that look just like sunflowers when they start to grow. We will have to see what comes of them.

I`m off to bed now. Might be in tomorrow, have to see what DS1 is like with going to bed so I can log in. Hes in a very good mood so I hope hes keeps the good mood so we can have a happy weekend.

Night night
HN xx
