a. Weekly and put baking powder in to soak up the bad smells. And I have seperate trays for cheese, condiments and never mix veg and meat.

b. quick wipe once a month or if something particularly vile drips down over everything.

c. once a year. maybe

d. You're supposed to clean it?

e. Never. The bacteria need something to eat.

Was trying to give it a quick wipe over every time it gets empty(ish) à la Flylady (little & often) but it usually turns into a full-on empty it all out, stuff dripping on the counter charade.

Glad to see it's still more often than some people (have v. low standards here in general!)
