Don't use bleach as the cat may well pee there again!! The smell of bleach makes the cat want to cover it up with its own smell so use a solution of biological washing powder instead.
I'm assuming it's just one puddle? If it is, I'd just get on with it on hands and knees, tbh.
Well the thing is - I'm so embarrased. I didn't notice it so it's gone and stuck to the floor which is why I'm having trouble making myself scrub it. But I will if I have to - just looking for the easy way out
Bi carb usually gets rid of the smell of urine. Put some in warm water and wash it. Dry the floor really well, then sprinkle some dry bi carb over the area and leave over night...vacuum up in the morning. Smell should have gone!
