I am not Liz Hurley

I think there is a time and place for them

Yes (provided you are telling the truth, if you are really Liz Hurley then it is time to stop wearing them!)

I tried some on in river island and they fit perfectly, but something in me just said 'put them back and leave the shop'

I've recently bought some Seven ones which were half price and fit really well but for some reason I feel too self conscious to wear them.

I love white jeans... I had the greatest pair that looked fantastic but they have died sad and I cannot find another pair as enhancing...

They can be super glamorous in a low key way - Converse or flip flops, little top, great bag, sunglasses, natural make-up.

do not ever wear white jeans if you have highlights however.

I think they look lovely sometimes. Then other days I think they look awful. I keep picking them up in shops and putting them back down again.

they are fab - buy them then wear once and you will feel a bit self conscious but then the 2nd time you wear you are over it and you will love them!

you must not wear them before may though and put them away before end sept.

you must not wear them with converse in fact whether you should wear converse at all is another debate!

flipflops are okay if they are really nice ones NOT havianas which are purely beachwear.

they are best with simple tops and heels or wedges if glam ones. wear with black, green or red for best results.

I would wear them if I wasn't size 16.

They look lovely as crops with a tunic and heels.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
