and I thought no-one is going to look closely .. I'll have them, they'll entertain DS if nothing else

and this morning I wear them to school for the first time under my baggy bottomed trousers and one of my closest friends goes

"Oooo they're nice" <bends down, lifts trousers ... stays there a while .. looks up at me perplexed> "mwahahahahaahahahahaaaahahahahahahahahahahahh snort"

who bends down to look at shoes? grin

DM's on Amazon?

<checks paypal account>

I still have a pair of these - a relic from my student days. Would people bend down to laugh at them do you think? I am probably a bit middle aged for them these days

I'd wear them Twiglett - I have a pair of DM's which have a little red tag on, so it looks like they are some flash designer make. One friend bent down to look and it says "Royal Mail." blushgrin

We have a DM's outlet place near us and I got DD1 a wonderful pair of purple DMs for 20 pounds and DD2 a pair of wild spotty ones for 10 pounds. They love them.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
