Just sitting here daydreaming about my new little one comming home.
Can't wait to be sitting outside in the sunshine with DS in the paddeling pool and my new baby sitting on her play mat!
Also can wait to have my body back! smile
and having my whole family together.
What are you most looking forward to?

I've just had our garden done so I'm the same as you, looking forward to a long hot summer with DS playing outside and baby on a blanket, all content!

I'm also looking forward to seeing what my new baby will look like! And giving him his very first cuddle! grin

Can't wait to see what he looks like and am also completely overwhelmed that we have created a completely new person, so until I see him, not sure I'll believe it!

This is a lovely thread! I love the sitting in the garden in the sun idea (esp after the snow yesterday!).

Also have this lovely image of DH, LO and I lying in bed together early in the morning. smile

Getting to know every millimetre of his/her tiny little body. Watching him/her scrunch up their little hands and feet with tiny little nails. Most of all, that unique baby smell! Is there a nicer smell in the world?

Fast forward 1 year/18 months and I have 2 boys to play rough and tumble with!!

In the short term though. I am really looking forward pregnancy to be over and to enjoy the summer without huffing and puffing everywhere I go!!!

I'm not a big drinker at the best of times but i do miss the idea of a doubel JD and coke.
OR
black coffee and a cigarette for breakfast. Maybe not straight away cos of feeding but after a couple of weeks!

Steak that is almost raw and runny eggs with solders for dipping!
