We are thinking of getting one - are they really as good as they make out?

We just about break even on incomings and outgoings but I earn an irregular amount of money which could be put off the capital every now and then.

The problem with their site is that you can't see what your account/pots would look like.

I would appreciate any info/comments good or bad.

They are great, if you can cope with seeing a negative balance on your account everytime you go to the cash machine!
We paid of our mortgage many years early, and it had a lot to do with this account, because of the reduction in interest due to having salary sitting in the account for a lot of the month, and also because it is so easy to leave extra money in, you dont have the effort of actually having to make an overpayment, or worrying about what happens if you pay in extra and then need it again. Sorry, I dont know about the "pots" in the account, we never bothered with that.
Would definately recommend it.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the web address (URL) surrounded by [[ and ]]. So type [[http://www.mumsnet.com]] to display a link like www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page."
