I had a private session before a c-section and was nervous and anxious about the whole experience. Mars told us what to expect and It was invaluable -for me and my husband. She was realistic and reassuring. I felt prepared and so much more confident. Mars' advice got me breastfeeding in the recovery room and I continued for six months - something I thought would not be possible due to my MS. She had answers for all the silly questions I had and we bonded well with our son thanks to her help and encouragement despite two weeks of intensive care. Mars' support was endless and she is quite literally an angel - I cannot recommend her enough - she made the whole experience more joyful, less scary and told us the facts and practicalities in a straightforward honest way and what to do if things weren't going to plan. She even gave us a C section birth plan and told us what options we could choose to make it more personal. This was so important and made us feel in control of what could have been a cold clinical experience. She was going on holiday but still made the time to visit us in hospital as Zac had jaundice and ended up in intensive care - you would be lucky to have her wealth of experience and advice - if we'd had the time we'd have taken the six week course - as meeting other mums would have been a bonus. As it was- our session was brilliant and thank god we had it - when things went pear shaped she got us through it and spent the time to reassure us, thank you thank you..

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
