such as flashing lights and zig zag lines, the kind associated with a migraine.
It has now changed to a, for want of a better word, a blind spot. I can't see in the middle of my eye, just around the outside! I also have got a really bad headache that has come on really suddenly

Last week i was getting visual disturbances in my eye and pain over my head and behind my ear and into my eye. My eyeball felt like it was going to burst The doc said it was migraine and prescribed me migraleve, the ones with 2 different coloured tables (and the buggers charged me for 2 items), but they are finished, have jsut taken the last ones. Plus they made me feel awful, i think it's the effect they had with my amitryptiline tablets.
Can i take Ibuprofen with migraleve? i took the pink one 4 hours ago, and have jsut had 2 yellow ones (the last int eh packet)

Migraleve only works for my poncey migraines. For the stonking, vomiting migraines I take Imigran www.imigranrecovery.co.uk/. Costs about £3.50 a go but it's worth it. The side effects seem to include a sleepy, warm, haziness. Lovely! The only drawback is that once you've taken the tablet, you do need to lie down for a couple of hours.

`The migraleve haven't really helped. I am actually almost crying withthe pain sometimes. I took them for a week to see if they would help.

Oh you poor thing. Lie down. Put the telly on for the children. Or call someone to help you.

Yes, Imigran is the one where you have to answer a load of questions when you buy it.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
