I stopped 16 months ago. Got to be honest, I would still love to have another, but I loathe the smell, when I smell it on anybody else it makes me feel sick. Doesn't stop the mental attachment though.

Well done!
I stopped nearly 3 years ago. I read 4 different versions of the Allan Carr book to rid myself of the mental attachment, which was keeping me hooked. I can honestly say that is what has kept me stopped, with no cravings, for this long.

Then 10, 20 and one day you will go a few hours and not think of smoking.
Then DAYS! And you cant quite belive it.
Its normal to want one, s long as you dont have one...or you will be a smoker all over again. In health theres a nicotines something or other thread with other recently stoppd smokers...come join us!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
