OMG my head is going to explode. My Jasmine bush (and everyone else's has started blooming 2 days ago. every evening this week my soft pallet has got worse and worse and my face has felt swollen. Pretty normal hayfever reaction. I'm taking Clarytin (have done for over 25 yrs) but bloody hell. I think my head is actually going to explode with sinus pressure. I have taken a sudofed . my eyes are swollen. I've only just woken up so they are not too itchy but they're deffo swollen already.
My throat is sore cos I couldn't breath through my nose all night. WTF is going on? I feel like dung on a stick. I have a really busy week this week and my parents arrive on Thursday. I don't have time to feel like dung. Not Now. Waaaaah

i've been suffering really badly with hayfever this year until i tried beconase nasal spray. after weeks of my nose dripping like a tap, itchy eyes and mouth, taking hayfever tablets daily and also tried sudofed too, none of which seemed to help sad. dh got it for me from the supermarket, and i was really dubious, but it worked like magic.

my beconase is arriving on Thursday <wails>.
I have asked my parents to bring some over as the american ones are prescription only and threaten all sorts of unthinkable side effects.

I think at this point that amputation at the neck is the only thing that will make me feel better. DH is on his way home.

Has anyone tried taking one or two spoonfuls of LOCAL honey every day?

I've been taking the most local blossom honey I could get now for a few weeks and the Oil Seed Rape (devil's stuff sad) is in full bloom, and I am still OK... shock

Maybe I'm not allergic to that after all, but I usually have hayfever at this time of year hmm

I did the honey thang for years and alas it made no difference. The hive was at teh end of my road so it was very very local.
