cos I need some and my parents are coming this week so could bring it.
Nasal sprays seem to be prescription only over here and by law they can advertise on TV but they have to also stress the side effects. I'd rather use one I know that one that says "in rare occasions may cause limb loss or instant death" or words to that effect -even if it is advertised by Antonio Banderas

Its available OTC, as is flixonase.

No need for a prescription or doctor's note either.

A friend of mine forgot to take his flixonase with him while on holiday to the USA. It cost £150 to see a doctor, obtain a prescription and get it!

Yes, you buy it over the counter in the UK. You have to get it through the doctor here in Germany too - blardy med insurance racket (I've been using it for 20 years with no nasty side effects). I get my mum to bring it for me or send me some every year.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
