Hi all !

I hope you can help me ! I have been in pain all day, lower back and lower tummy. I also lost some brown clots all day, tonight, I have lost a massive clot, red, long, quite wide (it looked like a massive membrane attached by a cord with some bits in the middle) sorry tmi. I have called the doctor and he told me to take a pg test asap and it was negatif. The thing is, I'm on the pill so I dont understand why this happening. Anybody has been in my situation ? Please I need your help, I'm in total panick.

could be either a miscarraige or a fibroid i guess. Sorry if its either.
Do you normally have heavy periods? How long have you been on the pill for?
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By Summerfruit on Thu 08-May-08 19:10:44
I have been on the pill for 4 months now..I didnt have my periods for 2 months because I took the pill back to back as I had an appointment for a smear test.

Is it possible to miscarry and have a negatif pregancy test ?
I need to get checked out then.

Sorry I can't help but hope someone else can. Stupid question but did you save what you lost to show G.P.?

Sounds like you need to be seen by someone just to check everything is ok.

Hope someone can help.

How big was the clot? It's possible it may be womb lining mixed in with the clot.

Hope you're not suffering too much

Crikey summerfruit, i hope you're ok. I do think it's best to go a&e. Tr and save anything else you pass if you can, as others have suggested.
It does sound like a miscarage to me tho, sorry sad

Hi ! For all who want some news, I want to the walking center as advised by my gp..and it appears that I have nothing, that the blood I have lost is probably due to the fact I took my pill back to back..I wish my gp would have told me that from the beginning, it would have avoided me to appear like a right idiot !

Glad you're ok, but in future if anything like this happens again (hope it doesn't!), keep it and show it to the DRs.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
