I am due one anyway, it's almost 2 years since the last 1. However, I made this early because I keep getting "funny" things happening with my eyes.
Sometimes I get the auras that usually accompany a migraine, but with out the migraine. Other times I get slightly blurry vision. I'm worrying that there will be something wrong.

I get this saltire and was told it was a symptom of migraine - apparently you can get it without the headaches (as I do) - I have had my eyes tested and they're fine, hopefully you'll be like me

Don't worry, i went to the opticians a few years ago as i kept seing things in front of my eyes, like floating things that sometimes used to make it difficult to see for a few seconds.
But it just turned out to be "floaters" and after a couple of week they went away by themselves anyway.
I still have to go to the optician every 3 years or so as our familly has a history of Glaucoma.

I did mention it to the optician at work - when I was just getting the auras, and he did say it was "occular migraine". The other symptoms have just started in the past month or so.

Sometimes i get "auras", i think it's when my blood pressure is getting high.
I first notice it when i can't read things properly, its as if part of my vision has disapeared and then always on the top left hand side i get "shimering" silvery threads and they move slowly across my line of vision to the right hand side and then just disappear, i don't usually get a headache either.
May have an attack one or twice a month at them most.

Ripeberry - that's what mine are like. The blurry vision thing is worrying me though. I also get facial pain, which goes down one side of my face, and over the head into the neck. probabloy not connected though

When i went for my routine pre-maternity checkup with DD1 a few years ago, i started to get the "aura" and the midwife took my bloodpressure and she said it was so high she was ready to get my admitted to hospital as she thought i was developing pre-eclampsia.

But we waited 10 mins and then the "aura" went away and it was all back to normal.
No explanation for it really.

Ripeberry, you really should get your eyes tested every 2 years, everyone should. with a family history of glaucoma I would have thought 3 years is too long.
