Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Please refresh your page if you're having issues and also bear with us - it's us - or rather it's BigTech - but we'll fix it soonest!

We've just done a new code release and there are a few issuettes - we'll work through them.

Do refresh your pages though - that gets rid of most of the problems (though not all).
I'm finding this new, narrow font more difficult to read.

sorry, don't know if this has been mentioned (it's a very long thread to wade through) but on my 'threads i'm on' i only have the last five posts on every thread and if i click on a specific post it just brings me to the beginning of the thread, not to the post, or even the page, i wanted.
Bumping this to ask if the formatting of the page is ever going to be fixed?

The purple button boxes (advanced search/preview message for example) still overlap, they're an odd shape and it looks wrong.

I'm sure BigTech has better things to cry worry about but it irritates me every time I'm on here blush
How's it all going - I am having intermittent results with Threads I'm On now - sometimes it takes me to the top of the thread, sometimes to the actual post I clicked on. Still pretty irritating though - when is it going to be done? <whines>

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
