Tip of the day

If your DH says he wants breakfast in bed, chuck a sleeping bag onto the kitchen floor. MamaG

Quote of the week

Bucharest on the potentially perilous pitfalls of pregnancy: "You get so used to grown men whose first names you don't know shuftying about up your nethers that you have to chant to yourself, like a mantra, in the dentist's waiting room, "Don't take your pants off, it's just teeth this time."

Recipe of the week

Porpoise's red berry pavlova: lashings of strawberries and cream for Wimbledon finals weekend - with the ace addition of a crunchy, chewy meringue base. Serve with panache and await a grateful chorus of, "Ooh, I say!"

smile awwww, she's so cute - what a lovely smile.
What a beautiful little girl you have, I loved the montage, I did one for my DH for fathers day and he thinks it is the best present I have ever gave him.

Good luck to your DH on his parachute jump!
She is such a beautiful little girl and so strong and brave to have gone through so much. You must be very relieved that it's all over [understatement].

Good luck with the parachute jump.

I am all misty eyed reading her story (she is only a few weeks older than dd2) and has my husband has a hedirtary heart condition that thankfully both of my girls have escaped but I remember going for antenatel heart scans on them both at brompton and literally holding my breath for the whole appointment(it seems to only go down the male side of the family so we are not risking any more children) your story really hits home

Hope all goes well for dh jump and Tiana goes from strength to strength
Just read Tiana's story, and she is a very brave strong girl to go through all of that as are her mummy and daddy.

and what gorgeous eyes she has. she is a little stunner

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
