Because my portage worker told me that it was. In fact she called it a "huge leap". I thought "Right then I will remember to be delighted next time when Im cleaning his crap of his hands his t-shirt and the carpet." hmm He is 3 ASD btw.

yes I'ld be rather hmm too. I can only what was in her mind was an assumption that as DS is aware he has a dirty nappy he is getting closer to toilet training?

I went down one morning when Ds1 was just over three to find him literally covered in crap. Doubtless that should have meant he was fully trained within the week hmm. Unfortunately, we have had to wait until he is nearly five for him to be trained during the day with wees. He is not yet trained for poos and for him to be dry at night.

Ooh I think DS2 may be G&T in this.

Seriously though, I kind of know what she means. From a toilet training pov it's much better than total unawareness that he's done a poo. Can't think of any other pros though...

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
