DH wants to live by the sea! He is keen on the Dorset coast somewhere between Christchurch and Exmouth.
DS1 is 5 and has GDD and is currently doing really well at a special school which also has a secondary school on the same site and a fabluous after school club especially for disabled children which also runs holiday playschemes. It feels like we have got it made where we are, and DS1's school is the only consideration as far as I am concerned.
I have googled and only found a couple of private schools in Dorset.
Anyone able to tell me about a great state school in the area which also has the same after school/holiday facilities?
Pages we live inDevon and i am really struggling to find after school clubs etc for ds .My uncle is in Kent running a special school and has far more services and facilities than we do here.I dont know about dorset though.Maybe you'll be lucky!!
Some special schools have after-school clubs??? That is impressive!
I looked into special schools in Dorset a while ago as was considering moving there. There's the Wyvern School between Dorchester and Weymouth
www.wyvern.dorset.sch.uk/and Mountjoy School in Bridport
www.mountjoy.dorset.sch.uk/.
They both look very nice. Hope you find what you're looking for
My dd2 has SLD by the way.
