leaky, - theres no such thing as 100% guarantee. I think you just improve your chances from 49% to 53% or something!

Oh well, if I'm pregnant now it'll probably be a 3rd boy then. I only decided to try for another when I was ovulating already & with cycles that vary from 33-45 days it would be so hard to stop trying at the right time.Thanx StarlightMcKenzie.

We tried 3 and 2 days before ovulation and didn't the day before and the day of ovulation and we're having a girl!

There are things to can do about your diet too, to make the acidity in the vagina more favourable for girls but I didn't bother, --- too much effort!

Does anyone know if you want to try for a girl....do you HAVE to try in days leading up to ovulating and then day after or has anyone just done it anytime and still had a girl? Just wondered....not that conceiving is on my mind all the time!

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
