I've been wondering the same thing - am v. confused about when I ovulated, but according to FF we are going with CD9 at the moment, which would make me 6DPO, and I've been very bloated and windy for the last two days, which is v. unusual for me. I've also had some shooting pains and cramps around my cervix. I suffer with IBS and am therefore very familiar with my normal functions (sorry if TMI!)and normally it would have, ahem, been let out by now!!!

I'm not sure, but I've never heard of the sperm meeting an egg causing boatedness and wind.

I know you are right beaniesteve but surely egg meeting sperm must trigger sme hormone or reaction in your body that maybe some very sensitive people can feel?

it is a difficult time waiting for confirmation whether preg or not! during my first cycle ttc, i imagined all sorts of symptoms, so convinced i was preg blush and wasted lots of test sticks as a result.

so now i am calmer and just wait to see if AF is absent...

Sunshinemummy - she may have thought she was but it was probably just coincidence because up until implantation she wasn't pregnant at all. I know they mark it from the first day of your period but the reality is that the egg has to implant to be pregnant! Of course she could have had a very quick implantation but it usually takes a lot longer for teh egg to travel to the right place. grin

I don't know. My best mate knew the day after she did the deed that she was pregnant as she got a weird taste in her mouth. She was pregnant with her DD.

Just me hopeful thinking then.

After a couple of days - no. The egg needs time to implant and this is what would start many of he symptoms off. This usually wouldn't happen until a week or so after ovulation.
