TTC no 1-
I'm on CD12, always been regular (28 cycle, sometimes a couple of days shorter) and whenever I've spent time off the pill I've ovulated about this time (day 12-14), including first cycle after coming off the pill (luckily my body gets back to normal pretty quickly). Anyway, I came off the pill about 3 weeks ago (on April 28th), had a withdrawal bleed on 1st May (not a proper AF), but no sign of ovulation...? DH and I have been BD'ing every day since 28th - is there the slightest possibility that I ovulated straight away and am already Pg? If so, when would I test?

Ta!

You do not always ovulate two weeks before the start of your next period. Ovulation is not an exact science and a person can ovulate earlier, later or not at all in ANY given cycle.

Would also suggest that you make love when you both feel like it; two or three times a week throughout the cycle is fine.

If you do test I would not test until you are at least a week late (second week of June).

I have been following my EWCM for years, always thought I had a good clue as to when I OV'ed (TTC'ing or not).

Last cycle I thought I had OV'ed on the Sunday, bit later than usual, but never the less, obviously tested far too early on the Friday and got a BFP, so couldn't have possibly OV'ed on the Sunday IYSWIM? And that also means I 'missed' the OV signs completely.

Good job we have a good sex life else we would have cocked up the chances good and proper!

Sometimes the signs are wrong, sometimes you are looking for them too early, sometimes (especially after coming off hormonal contraception) you just don't OV.

Good luck though

Thanks! The most annoying thing is that every month, without fail, (when off the pill, obviously) I get lots of CM and really randy around this time - this month, nothing, nada. It's like being back on the combined pill! But no pg signs either that I can pick up, although I have no frame of reference. hmm

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
