Need some reassurance! Have DD (5) and DS (2) and had MMC at 9 weeks in Nov07 and MC at only 5 weeks in March. I feel ready to try again now, but suddenly feel scared about the prospect of it happening again. Has anyone been through this and how did you deal with it?
Thankyou! x
I should say that AF has returned bang on time, as usual!

Hi loverona,
I think that once you've had a misc it completely alters how you feel about conceiving and being pregnant, unfortunately.
No real words of advice. I have two children, and have since had 4 misc whilst trying for a third child. The longing for another child is so strong, and yet I am so scared (like you) of it happening again and how I would cope.
All I tell myself (when I'm feeling more positive) is that there was obviously a reason for those babies not to make it, and at least I know that I can carry a pregnancy full term (again, like you). At the end of the day we have little control over what mother nature plans for us, and all you can do is try and stay positive (easier said than done!) Incidently, I've been investigated and all my tests are normal, and they've put it down to "bad luck".
I'm sure things will be ok for you next time, and wish you all the best.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
