am worried sick now.

have just done a test (cheapo 3 for £1 ones), think it's possibly a pos (came up within the 5 mins they say) is stronger after 20 mins - but am disregarding that fact as i'm assuming now the pee has dried up a bit it would show clearer?

anyhow was a in the right light type of a line.

I have no idea where I am in my cycle, I think i'm a week late - but can't be sure, don't want to ask DP if he knows. Now isn't the right time at all, but on the other hand a termination would be out of the question.

shit shit fuckity fuck.

what's the chances - symptoms so far are mega moods (same as DS) and also my boobs are so sore and tender - also feeling very full. please say it's just my monthly on it's way. I have one more test to do in the morning. shit shit how can I be so stupid - we are/were being careful - condoms, to my knowledge one has never come off mid flow nor has one split (I certainly haven't pierced any and pretty sure DP wouldn't have). it's highly unlikely right? it's an evap line right?

can you put a pic on your profile? is the line coloured or grey?

no it's too faint to show up but very slight colour.

I would say you were preg. I had the faintest, thinnest line last week (that could only be seen at a certain angle of the light). Confirmed by Clearblue Digital.

I have to say it does sound like you could be pg. You have not been stupid it takes two and if a condom has failed no one is to blame.

I think you need to get a more reliable test and soon before you send yourself silly with worry.

You need to share your worry with your dp it is not your responsibility alone and you sound like you could do with sharing the strain.

Good luck I hope that you get the result that you want.

can a condom fail if it's not split of been pierce - well deliberately pierced? I didn't think they could?

Think sometimes they can fail if they weren't put on soon enough? (The tadpoles "leak out" sometimes - or was this something we were told at school to put the fear of God in us!)

afaik it's always been put on in time - we're careful & DP always puts it on.

god I hope this is only a late af.

Any sign of AF today?
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By quickswop on Fri 09-May-08 13:25:07
hi thanks for asking,

no sign of AF yet, BFN this am - hoping last nights may have been a bad batch or something. doesn't feel like AF is on it's way, on the other hand only other times i've been late is because i'm pg.

Still haven't told DP. will wait and see what the weekend brings before stressing more I think hopefully it will be here by monday - if not will have to go and get a clear blue or first response.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
