my sister has been trying to get pregnant since her 8 yr old ds was about 3

she has tried chlomid (sp?) and is having trouble
BUT she had 2 positive pg tests today
she wasn't even testing to see if she was pregnant!
she refuses to get excited until the doctor confirms on wednesday
Do you think she is?

I think the pg tests check for the HGC hormone which is definitely not there unless you're pregnant. False negatives are commoner than flase positives as far as I know but someone with more experience will be along, I'm sure.
Sounds to me as if she is, though. Congrats!

is clomid a hormone drug? Some hormone drugs can give you false positives. But if not highly unlikely to get false positives

I'm not sure she is taking the clomid anymore
I'm not entirely sure what it is either
I know that she has to take something to make her ovulate though

Hmm, she doesn't live near me at all and I forget what exactly she is trying at the moment
I thought she had taken a break from trying to conceive though, maybe thats why she got pregnan

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]].
