let us get through the next week together

also i have very little symptoms compared to last month. my boobs are not overly sore, and cramps are much less hmm

Hi, I will hold your hand , I am on CD29 today, I am on my second cycle of clomid (100mg)and planning to test on Sunday, not feeling very positive though, don't have any symptoms other than the ones I am imagining [sceptical]

hi little, thats great, we'll hold hand together

i will be starting on clomid next month if it does not work this month.

are you ttc dc1?

Yes, I had an MC in March 2006, and no joy since apparently I stopped ovulating
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By Heron23 on Thu 17-Apr-08 15:31:10
i am so sorry to hear that

fingers crossed clomid does the job!

i am using clearblue fertility monitor to work out my ovulation day. how about u? are you using anything?
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By littlemissdaisy on Thu 17-Apr-08 16:20:01
I use the clearblue digital, how does the CB fertility work??? May try that next month if we have no joy.
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By Heron23 on Thu 17-Apr-08 16:41:02
it works my detecting the rise of estrogen and then a rise in LH. so, you get a couple of days of high followed by the peak day. so all in all, you have about 5 days where you are fertile. and so cue for BDing!

http://www.clearblue.info/uk/FertilityMonitor.cfm

this site explains it so much better!

hopefully we both dont have to be ovulation testing anymore next month

does the fertility monitor work if you have poly cystic ovaries?

I'm due next Thursday too...second cycle ttc.No symptons whatsoever yet...could do with some support to not test early as last month drove me bonkers....got a positive then negatives then period came. Promising myself to wait at least until due date this time but I doubt I will be able to.

Can i join in? Am ttc#2. Have no idea what day of cycle but know af is due in next 7 days. HAve been feeling nauseous, funny taste in mouth, coffee smelt foul this afternoon. But am not holding breath as last 3 months I have had pms that has mirrored these early pg signs. Though did bd around ish ov day. You never know. fingers crossed for all.
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By beckmo on Thu 17-Apr-08 20:40:04
My PMT symptons are the same as my (last) pregnancy symptons too...which is really annoying. Went through about 10 tests last month.

I will join you ladies smile. I am on CD26 of 31 so due on next wednesday. I WILL NOT TEST!!! I keep repeating that over and over. So far very restrained I think!

I don't think I have any symptoms at all so not feeling hopeful.

This is cycle 3 ttc #1. (tested early last month with tears so refusing to fall into trap this month!)....or so she says!

hello girls

STEP AWAY FROM THE TESTS!!!!

LOL at the peeing quick in the morning so you can't test! Not possible if you're temping though as have to take temp first before getting out of bed!

CD30 here, due on wednesday. Temp still high which is a good sign I think. I'm getting a tiny bit excited now! Is anyone else?

Really hoping the BFP rubs off! grin

hi choc, i am super excited as well. this is my 2nd cycle ttc. AF is due on thurs am, or wed evening.

still got sore boobs. usually by 2moro boobs will be less sore...if AF is coming.

i really hope i am this time, but not feeling overly positive. did lots of BD and at the right time as well.

sometimes i wish that i can be put into a long long sleep (like until thurs am) and then when i wake up, it will be AF day or not! this waiting does not suit me at all grin

how is everyone holding up?

Hi, Well my wonderful news was not long lived, the spotting I had turned into full blown heavy bleeding overnight this is the third time this has happened to me, I am waiting for the fertility unit to ring me, there must be something that can be done, my problem obviously isn't getting preganant, its staying pregnant. I am now going to start my third round of clomid and go from there. Good luck to all you guys who are still waiting.

sorry to hear that - so is it a chemical pg? I am not really up to speed with that but I think that progesterone can help with making sure the womb-lining is well developed and ready to receive blastocyst for successful implantation.

Take care of yourself and I hope you get some answers.

hi everyone. I am not ttc because h does not want another although i would. Just wanted to wish you all luck and give you hope. I was diagnosed with pid and did not catch it in time so my right fallopian tube was covered in adhesions. Also have pcos. Had laser treatment in early 97 but they did return. Lost all hope tbh. Then in april 2005 i missed a period and just put it down to stress. So by the time may came i thought i might do a test(even though i knew it was a million to one chance as what with problems and h using withdrawal method) i cant begin to tell you the shock i had when i had a bfp! Ds born in 06 and is the best thing ever in my life. So keep trying ladies there is hope. As soon as i stopped stressing i fell pg! And i smoked drunk etc. So good luck everyone

When did you get the first faint one? When will you be officially late?

It is really common to get faint or no positives until well after period is missed (as many, many mners will testify) but if you continue to get faint positives after, say, Friday when the HcG should have approx doubled, then perhaps take advice.

It is frustrating that brands publish a detection rate, yet even tests in the same pack can have different sensitivities!! First Response is the most recommended as being consistently sensitive (reported 25 but generally 12) with clearblue digi coming in at 50 but anecdotal evidence of picking up less than 10ml)

Hi X - I'll pat your back whilst Heron holds the hand grin

Sure - as long as you are dead sure about OV, then test again Friday before seeking advice from a GP or MW. The reason I say that, is because repeated false positives are very unusual, and although they don't always necessarily darken, you want to make sure that the hcg levels are, in fact, increasing.

Gawd, this baby-making is stressful, eh?!

Hi Heron
I'm so sorry, sad we are both in the same boat, Pregnancy test are evil, had I not of tested so early I never would have seen the +ive result, lets hold hands even tighter for this cycle, and promise each other never to test until we are at least awake.

hi all, sorry AF got you super

i am going for acupuncture on thursday. i figure it is the best course of action for me to lower stress and boost blood flow to my ovary, womb etc.

i am feeling quite happy about this. this is going to be my 3rd cycle ttc. i know it is early days. one thing i have learnt is to lower my expectations every month.

Thoughts of ttc no longer fill my every waking moment, unlike the last 2 months blush

Have come back now-if I can please.

Though am majorly peed off, as had very good bd session Wed night. Thursday did back in-(may possibly be due to bd sessionwink) Now dh refusing to bd until back is much better. Had really high hope s for this weekend as ewcm appeared Thurs/Fri. So am not holding breath or counting days as is highly unlikely to be pg after Wed.
Never mind there's always next monthhmm Though thought i would try that diet from NOTW last week. Maybe will help with dreadful PMT symptoms which are about to kick in in next 7days.

FIngers crossed for y'all

I'm on my 2ww and though am not holdin gout hope as bd has been very few and far between as i posted before. But I am wallowing in the bliss of not having my usual 2weeks of pms hell and feeling quite happy and pain free, just a few stomach cramps (though secretly hoping that my 1 bd session has been successful) hmm unlikely i know.

hi tink, i set the alarm last night for 6am this morning, hoping to take my temp. but guess what? DS woke me up at 5.55am! and of course without thinking i shot out of bed...

he usually wakes up at 6.30am

anyway, i think it is too late for me to get an idea of my pre-ov temp as it is now dy17 for me and i have already ov'ed.

how are you feeling tink? is this your first child?

congratulations tink. Great news. Perhaps this is a good sign for us all this month. Fingers crossed for all. May the sunshine have shone on us all and the sperm swam the right way.

Hi Guys, Hope you are all well I am CD23 today, not sure when to expect the witch this month due to CP last month, so just waiting, have been BD'ing every other night, don't know if our when I ovulated so leaving it to chance this month really, feeling a bit low/disheartened this week though, imagining symptoms that probably arn't there, same old, same old. Hows everyone else doing? anybody got a test date in mind yet.
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By cathers on Tue 13-May-08 14:31:44
hi everyone - here we are again ...
AF due next tuesday. Did opk again this month, def ovulated last week and did +BD over the right time. Not feeling hopeful though but then again strangely more relaxed this month as been on hols last week, change of scene etc etc..Will late till next weekend to test wink. thats what i said last month!

Hello again, CD 24 here and AF due about next Wednesday time but it was 5 days late last month so who knows!
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By madame on Tue 13-May-08 18:40:29
hello, i would like to join here if that's ok. I have dd 2and half and am trying conceive my second. Have been trying for the last year to no avail...I am 37

So nice to read here that I am not the only one that does early pregnancy tests!

I am about 3 weeks into my cycle, I do have sore boobs and had real stomach cramps for the last 2 days but gone today..

I have had 2 miscarriages so it would be great to have another healthy baby. Found this thread so comforting to read that others are in the same boat.
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By flowerfairy on Tue 13-May-08 20:42:35
I don't tend to count days am not as dedicated as some on this thread. Roughly think am due on 20th of month, though cycle varies between 28-32 days. Roughly guess ov fro ewcm, but as i said before only bd once this month due to bad back. Only try to test when at least 14days late as i hate the disappointment of bfn more than af arriving. am alwalys determined to be positive & relaxed but know that fall flat on it's face as the pms gets worse. Though my really painful boobs & cramps have only just begun to get worse (7days before which is a huge relief after 5 months of dreadful pms).

And i know i have not been through half of what some of you have. Good luck all

I'm back after BFN last month. Day 20 of cycle and 4 days post ovulation. Going away on holiday next week so hoping packing etc will take my mind of it all. Once again no symptons ..and it's so much harder trying when you already have a little one...kept missing opportunities this month so not too hopeful.Anyway...I find coming on here helps me not to test early...or at least feel I'm not the only one doing it...
