ei, how are you, you testing soon? Congrats 1littleprincess, here's to a sticky bean, & bss, hope all goes all with the scan, good luck xx
Don't know what's going on with me, according to FF yesterday, i was 10DPO & should test in next couple of days. I had cramps 2 days ago & thought AF was coming, but they've since gone, and am still feeling nauseous & thirsty. However, when i logged in today's temp & CM, they shifted my ovulation day to 3 days ago hmm? Has that happened to anyone else.? Am on cd 28/29, and if FF correct, i could expect AF in another 10+ days, which would mean a longer cycle than i've ever had before. It would also mean we've completely missed the boat re BDing sad. My temperature is all over the place because i'm not the most restful of sleepers. Am confused now....

Congratulations 1LittlePrincess and good luck bss.

Second stick done for Clearblue monitor. My BF says he's on high alert!

Caspercat - I am getting the same shift in temperatures. i find taking my temp as soon as I wake near on impossible as I wake before the alarm and it takes me ages to actually realise I'm awake. Yesterday my temp went right down to 35.3 and then today up to 36.2. I'm sure I am doing it wrong.

ei, so sorry for BFN, but i second what mm says about TEW. I hate this bit, this horrible wait. I too will be testing on Fri unless AF beats me to it. Let's hope we both get some good news. I'm switching between talking myself out of any positive signs i might feel, and bigging them up! Am weepy as all hell at the mo, and of course that could be PMT or PG aswell! Wish i hadn't bothered with FF at the mo, it got my hopes up, then dashed them sad. If you have a minute, have a look at my updated chart on our previous thread, and tell me what you think. They've shifted my ovulation day! (sorry not able do link again, dh did it for me last time)

Oh Eisad it really did look good. I was sooo excited for you. I really hope TEW stays away. It's so hard not to get excited. Look at me getting excited when there was no hope in hell of me getting a BFP. We all pay so much attention to all the signs that we involuntarily get our hopes up. It doesnt matter how much we convince ourselves otherwise, it will always be a huge disappointment. Still, as Mollie says "it's not over till the fat red witch sings!"

Thanks, ei, you are clever! I take my temp orally, at the same time each day. But i am a very light sleeper, have normally been awake for about 40 mins(while dh & dd both sleep soundly) before i take it, and will have woken up prob 2 to 3 times during the night. Only had EWCM once this month, which was around the time they calculated my ov the 1st time (and we BDd like crazy). Are EWCM & ovulation mutually exclusive, or can you have 1 without the other??
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By EiWishFor3MoreWishes on Wed 02-Apr-08 12:11:45
you can have one without the other as far as i know!! but i would go with when you think you had it and if that was around the first Ov that it had for you then go with that onesmile i noticed you had a few 'fertile CM' days the past couple of days are you sure it was fertile CM like watery or ewcm as i thought i had watery cm the other day and it wasnt it was more milky which is classed as creamy cm i think maybe that is why FF has changed your OV daysmile
xx ei xx
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By EiWishFor3MoreWishes on Wed 02-Apr-08 12:14:40
whoops sorry CC i read it wrongblush it has no CM down on there maybe temping is not the best thing for you on its own then CC have you tried OPKs? it might be worth giving them a go alongside the temping as you need at least 3 hours of continuous sleep to get an accurate BBT and if you are not getting this every night maybe the temp isnt giving you the best impression of your cyclesmile
xx ei xx
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By caspercat on Wed 02-Apr-08 13:12:04
Thanks again. I've had milky cm the last 2 days, which is what i thought i'd put into FF. What does milky cm mean then??? I did try OPKs, started on cd9, carried on til cd22, didn't get a single positive! Am obviously rubbish at this charting lark, eh?
Contact the poster Contact mumsnet about this post By JaamyBunny on Wed 02-Apr-08 16:13:59
Ei - Pooh to BFN! Really hope the evil old cow doesn't get her hands on you. You've been so positive this month, please don't let this get you down. Go and paint something to cheer you up! THen you'll have a lovely shiny (almost) new house that little ole pg you can relax in, when the BFP does happen. Good luck to you. x

CC - good luck for testing on Fri. I know exactly how you feel with the frustration of temping and OPKs. I had the same problems of an irregular cycle and never got any +ve results on OPK when TTC DD1. Ended up being referred for a laparoscopy where everything was found to be...absolutely normal. Some of us are just unpredicatable...isn't it nice to be different ! Seriously though, the FF chart calculator may just not be able to cope with your quirkiness. Chances are that you did BD on the right days and we'll all be celebrating your BFP on Friday.

BSS - sincerely hope your fears of an EP are unfounded. When do you get results back? Hope they don't make you wait too long.

Got to do a HPT tomorrow and phone results in to hospital to confirm that it is negative, then I can be discharged after CP. Seems strange taking a test that's supposed to be a BFN.

Afternoon all,

ei it is impossible not to get your hopes up, especially when charts look so good <<hugs>>

caspercat When do you think you ov? I had a quick look and would have guessed at maybe CD18 hmm. Have you tried asking FF to discard your mad high temps on CD 6 and 8? The coverline might be lower if they are removed.

Hello to everyone else smile
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By caspercat on Wed 02-Apr-08 19:21:57
Hi all, are all the muffins goneshock?
Hello Jaamybunny, thanks for your thoughts. Bugger that you had to go through a laparoscopy just to be told you're normal! Although i guess better that than to receive bad news. I was a month away from having same, then managed to get PG with DD naturally (after 18mths ttc). Big hugs for tomorrow, hope all ok.
JollyBear, i thought i ov'd around CD18/19 - so did FF until i put in today's reading! Didn't know you could ask FF to discount readings - will try that. Meanwhile, will try to be optimistic & stick with my original feelings, which means AF v soon, or testing on Fri. Gave in today and did one of those 1st Response tests - BFN sad, but was expecting that. Anyone used an early detection test where they actually got a BFP??
Evening to everyone, hope to pop back later, anyone join me in a large glass of vino???

Does anyone know if that's actually from reading the sticks or does the machine just start giving them to you on around day 8?

Thank you ladies, you are so lovely. DH and I had a chat last night and have decided that we are not going to put TTC on hold until after hol as I said I would after cp. Will just have to suffer MS in the sun if/when it happens. May even take advantage of situation and let DH do all the running around after DDs on hol.wink

So BD last night and over next few days (I'm fairly certain that I ov early in my cycle) and we'll see what happens...

Hope everyone else is enjoying their BD sessions.

Ei - you ok, hun?

Hi Ladies!

Ei - I am keeping my fingers crossed for you, a rise in temp is a good sign! I really hope you get your BFP this cycle!

Piper are you still lurking? If so I hope all is well with you and I wish you a very uneventful pregnancy!

Hello and welcome to luckyT, my new CB!

Nothing much to report from me, CD17, trying to bury myself in work in an attempt to forget I am on the 2WW.

DH and I just booked a holiday to the Maldives right when I'll be ovulating end of May so if nothing's happening by then, I hope we might conceive our little bean over there, how cool would that be?

Congrats to all the latest BFPs and loads of baby dust to everyone! x
Contact the poster See this person's profile Contact mumsnet about this post By LittleSquirt on Thu 03-Apr-08 14:18:05
Beanie, is it the first month you are using a CB monitor? You can get many days of "high" reading when the monitor gets to know you.
I have one which I have been using since end of last year and now that it knows me well, I tend to only get 1 or 2 high days before I get my peak days.

I should add that I have been using the monitor for a while but I was diagnosed with Asherman's in Dec so it turns out that I couldn't conceive until I had 2 ops, last one was in January. So I am only on my 2nd cycle of using the monitor when I know that I can conceive. I hope that makes sense.

I know a few people who have conceived after only a couple of months of using the monitor - one of them on the first month - so hopefully we will both get our BFPs soon!

Congrats Lobsterlass, we've not met before, i'm a newbie, but wanted to say HI grin
beaniesteve, have fun with all your practicing grin, tink too
Justjaamy, glad to hear you & DH have decided to keep up the good fight! Have a fantastic holiday, hope you get spoiled rotten smile
Hi littlesquirt, i'm on 2ww aswell - but nearing the end. Have no idea which way it's gonna go, am 12 DPO and feel neither PG or due AF. Just have to wait - good luck for yours, and am envy at Maldives - went there on honeymoon, it was beautiful.
Finally, hi ei, my 2ww buddy. Good luck for testing tomorrow, will be sending sticky bean wishes your way. I'm gonna hold off till Sat morn i think - my temp still high, keep having fluttery feelings in my abdo, have sore boobs (which i've never noticed before AF), v thirsty and slightly nauseous BUT also been getting cramps on & off since Monday, and just don't feel PG. Hate getting my hopes up every month, feel so stupid when it doesn't work out sad. So shall concentrate beany vibes your way for now grin.
Hi to everyone else who may be lurking xxxxx

Hi Ladies,

Just checking in - thanks for setting up the new thread Ei and good luck with your test! You too caspercat!

I'm still here a the end of the list! Fruity hi and good luck for this cycle, hope that some of the baby dust on this thread rubs off on you - it seems to be very lucky already!

Congrats to the lucky ladies who are now PG but might still be lurking here wink!

I started temping just to see what was going on - but the beeping of the thermometer almost caused a huuuge row with hubby so that is errr "on hold" now! grin.

So I'm just sitting it out till June when the doc has agreed to do some tests - and hoping AF turns up soon (I know the rest of you want to avoid TEW ...but I'd quite like a visit to re-assure me that my bod is working how I want it to! Have to say I'd never have taken the pill if I knew how much havoc it'd cause!!!)hmm

Good luck Ei and CC - you are both doing soooo well holding off testing until tomorrow! I will be checking this thread over the weekend hoping to see news of your BFPs

Blondie & FL - totally agree with you on the pill. I really wish someone had told me that being on it for 13 years solid might cause some issues when I stopped to try to get pregnant. But then again I also wish that someone had told me that having a D&C might damage my uterus, possibly irreversibly. There really is a lot of info we should be getting that we're not and it makes me really angry because then how can we make the right decisions?

Sorry, that was a bit of rant, wasn't it! blush

Back to CD1 for me. Not sure I made it onto the list, could the next update add me on?

I'm looking at the positive side - drinks tonight, gardening in my cat-infested garden tomorrow, and more chance of my dad & stepmum being back in the country if/when we do succeed (which is v. good because they're the most well-balanced and helpful of all the parents!)

Evening ladies

Sorry, don't pop in here as much as i should... thanks for the new thread EI! Was wondering where you are today, as i hadn't "seen" you in the "symptoms" thread. Things do seem to be a bit confusing with you - high temps, no AF but no BFP.

TB2 where are you going??? Don't leave us!!! We need your happiness and positivity!

shreksmissus lovely to see you popped in here the other day! I have missed you - how are you? You must pop into the symptoms thread with us as well, although i know you want to try to avoid obsessing over things, it would be lovely to see you, and we can promise not to obsess on your behalf!!

Thanks ei - cycle 2 and ttc #1 for me. Cycle turned out to be shorter than expected so I think we missed the key days - must try harder this time around

Hi all, esp ei, testing buddy grin
Well, i'm back at the top of the list sad. In typical EVIL WITCH form, she turns up tonight, 12hrs before am due to test. Is only spotting for now, but i know what it means. Was i imagining dry heaves & nausea? I must've been.
Sorry to whinge & be self indulgent, but this one has hit me really hard. Everything seemed to happen as & when it should, but still it hasn't happened & i can't help but feel maybe my time has passed. Am 38, lucky to have one very beautiful dd, and maybe i should just be happy with what i've got. I try. But i want another child so bad it makes my heart ache.
Will lurk for a while, but will prob refrain from posting til AF has left.
