Not exactly an answer, but I have one of these (including the filling and emptying kit) unused.

I wanted a home-birth, but ended up being induced in hospital.

I'm in South London. Where are you?

CAT me if you're interested.

The BPIAB folds down very compact, so is no big deal to store. Worth getting well before term, sot hat you can practice and get some idea of how long it takes to fill.

I never got to use ours'. We lent it to a friend, and she never got to use it, either! But we've kept it and get it out at least once in summer (outdoors) and once in winter (indoors) to have a family paddle in it. Brilliant fun!

Maybe we'll keep it and paddle in it, then. (Assuming that wasn't the last of the hot weather for the year).

Hello. I got mine at about 30 weeks so I had plenty of time to have a practise go. I didnt get to use mine either so have one I am selling if you wanted one, But I am in West london and dont want to post. Mine isn't the inflatable one though its a proper, ex hire pool made from fibrglass panels. Its brilliant and I was really dispointed I didnt get to use it. I had a vey long labour so had to go to hospital to be monitored and have things speeded up.

This is the pool I have: www.waterbirth.co.uk/oval%20and%20round.htm

If you are interested, email me at jennifer_webb@hotmail.co.uk as I dont have the CAT facility either.

Sorry, just realised there are 2 pools on the page I have linked to. Its the Luxury Oval pool. It costs £200 to hire but I will sell for £100 as I just need the space.

Thanks for that - I will look in to it but I think I'm going to have to go for an inflatable as we have zero storage space here, so it really will have to disappear in to almost nothing.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
