Have had a 'loose' tummy now for a good few days - am 16 days off EDD. Everything seems to be going through me pretty quickly.

No other symptoms at all, so don't think it's the clearing-out-bowels-before-labour-begins thing. And don't have swollen feet or anything - someone said it could indicate pre-eclampsia.

Any thoughts?

ElmMum: Just bumping for you as I don't really know the answer, - BUT I do know that your body does go through lots of changes, especially at this time that you are probably not even aware of. Hormones can do this to you!

It could be the start of labour.

Can you call your midwife so she can reaaure you ?

Thanks guys. I'm confident it's not the start of labour. No other symptoms of that at all and it's been going on for a few days. Did a bit of Googling, and someone else had this for 3 weeks before labour. Her doc put it down to a change in hormones gearing up for labour, which sounds reasonable.

Cheers for the help though x

i had this, after a reflexology session which was meant to bring on labour - instead massive runniness blush

it stopped for about 2 or 3 days and then labour proper started - make sure you keep hydrated and rested

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
