i'm hopefully going to have number 3 within the month and whoever said you forget the pain etc was clearly lying as it all seems very recent and very vivid.

anyone else thinking about labour a lot?

what're you like? as i just said on another thread, i'm of the "don't talk to me, don't touch me" brigade and get annoyed with dh or the poor midwives if they forget that. i also love my TENS and cling to it for dear life. and I get into a wee routine of swapping gas and air for ice chips (dh very useful for passing them).

I alternated between G&A and vomiting for 4 hours, and during that time said very little to DH apart from turn it up/ turn it down (meaning TENS).
In fact I was amazed to find out after that he'd gone off to the food hall to have some pizza for energy on the MW's advice as she thought it'd take a long time. She was wrong, however I didn't even notice he was gone!!

He got back in time for DD's birth and was v glad of him then.

Also didn't give a monkey's about muzac.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
