I thought it was great - well done to Charlotte for organising it and to all the mums who took part

Shame about some of those interviewed on the street but I liked that it ended with a positive message from the NCT woman.

That is a pretty positive piece so why have they entitled it Is Breast Best? I thought that was a given hmm

The presenter interviewing the NCT lady seems to be in the 'disgusted' brigade. The faces she was pulling when suggesting that people might find it worng!

And good on Nell McAndrew for showing that it's normal and possible for a sleb to do the same.

I phoned the Wright Stuff today to comment on their article "Is Breast Best?" - I wasn't used though.

I am so grateful Nell McAndrew stepped in. My dh has been muttering about our 2 and 5 months ds's bfing for a while now, along the lines of how weird it is, etc. But he really likes Nell McAndrew, so it might shut him up for a bit!

There was a small article in the Times yesterday that stated women who breastfeed for over 13 months have over 50% LESS of chance of developing rheumatoid arthritis.

It is such a debilitating illness - what a great way to reduce your odds of getting it.

it was great, the manager at costa was great - really helpful bringing drinks over & stuff.
such a positive afternoon - lots of bfing, slings & chatting.
Nell was lovely too.

Charlotte should be proud of her organisation

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
