Oh, didn't realise they didn't last longer than 3 months. Expensive in that case!

oh yes pls MrsB
I liked the idea of them not showing under clothes - hate that breastpad look under your t-shirt

Hi, I used those Plastic Milk collector shells whilst indoors,as if you sterilize them, and have a sterile empty bottle or breast milk bag,you can store the milk you "leak" and freeze it,then if you want to go out for a couple of hours, someone can feed your LO.Much easier than expressing, unless you have an electric pump.grin

I think they eventually lose their 'stick'

My mw recommended them if your non-feeding breast starts to leak when you are feeding. Apparantly they put pressure on the boob and nipple.

I don't think I fancy them in this heat though.

I was going to post asking about these
I think the manufacturers say don't use until milk supply established (eg 6 weeks)

how do they wear out then?

I found them a pain when out as you have to leave them on the table or somewhere while you feed, whereas absorbant ones just fold into your bra

they were great later for going out without dd though as they're so unnoticeable under clothes

May just have been coincidence but I used them 3-4 monthsa in and immediately got blocked duct. They ended up in the bin...

Yes I thought good, but not absolutely leakproof. Need to really press the nipple in when you put them on. Any no way they last 3 months like they say.

But would generally recommend.

Or should I stick with absorbent pads for now?
Ds4 is 10 days old.smile
