my answer is yes.
My first baby did this at 6 months and I wasn't switched on enough to know what was going on (it was over 20 years ago) so I put him on a bottle.
I've had 3 more children since then and they've all had nursing strikes at around the same age but I managed to get through it with them.
Just be patient. If/when he's hungry/thirsty, he'll feed. Don't give him any solids in the meantime though.
If you're really uncomfortable, express some off to ease it a little.

dd2 is the same age and I'm having exactly the same situation. She fed alot during the night, but since 8am this morning hasn't been interested in anything more than a couple of gulps.

She is blwing though and so far this morning has eaten a several pieces of pasta, quarter of an apple and a whole . I'm sure if she was given some food now she'd devour it, but as for milk sad.

I think I may be giving her too much food, but she grabs it and shoves it in herself, its not as though I'm force feeding her.

i found my two refused milk more when it was hot weather, like we've had this last week, so maybe offer a juice cup with some water in....??? worked with mine.

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]].
