A breastfeeding 'sit in' is being organised on the lawn outside Church House in Westminster on Monday 12th May (this Monday) as the first day of National Breastfeeding Awareness week.

The National Breastfeeding Conference is taking place at this venue and will attract media attention and over 200 health professionals, peer supporters and volunteers - they hope that as many breastfeeding mothers as possible can join them with their babies at 1pm for a photo shoot and to promote breastfeeding. (Boris Johnson may appear!)

Free smoothies will be available for all breastfeeding mums.

Please meet at 1 p.m. on the lawn at Church House. (see www.churchhouseconf.co.uk/findus/index.shtml )

Manuela, the press officer for the RCM, is organising the photo shoot and media response. Please let her know if you intend to attend and where you are from.

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
