Book Club already thriving, we thought it about time we started reviewing grown up books and for this category we're looking to hand out the wooden spoon to the worst book you've read this year (that was published in the last year or so). 3 times I have tried to read this, and 3 times I have had to give up after about 20 chapters due to the waffling, overly flowery drivel. I cannot get intersted in the characters, and I could nto tell you anything important about them as it just is not sinking in.
Shamefully badly written considering I loved Labyrinth and bought this on the back of that.

Thought it was a pile of poorly edited hooey (in lieu of another ruder word!). Was seriously cross that mother in law saw fit to give me both books as hardbacks for 2 christmas's.
How on earth did they get so popular?

I gave up with this at about chapter 30 as the inside sleeve insert that tells you what its all about still hadn't happened!!! Frustrated after Labarynth was so good

Poorly written, disappointing sequel to the hugely successful Labyrinth. The author has some interesting ideas about music and tarot and the supernatural but fails to develop them properly.
