This is a great find; we were recommended by two sets of friends and we were not disappointed - it was amazing. We stayed in Beacon Hill Cottage which was immaculate, Cots, high chairs, bed guards were provided foc along with a host of other things. The views from the cottage were stunning, the facilities were the best we have ever encounterd and the peace and tranquility were simply lovely. Older children were running around the woods and grounds just like the old days. We made friends with another family and joined them for a sausage sizzle in the woods and our 7 year old still talks about it now. We loved Beacon Hill and we loved Northumberland. We have booked again but when we were there most of the other families seemed to have been coming for years. This is a real find.

An excellent place for a family holiday, with plenty to do both at the cottages and in the surrounding area. Really good facilities which are kept spotlessly clean and up to date. We spent the wet mornings in the lovely indoor pool before being brave and heading out to places like Alnwick Castle. Great facilities for just adults too - sauna, steam room etc...overall great value for money but with some luxury to boot. Also never seen such a well equipped kitchen in a self catering place. We're going back for more!
