Mamas & Papas Travel Tot Classic

I bought this for £40 before my son was born. I really liked it, it was easy to use and not to big but the mattress is horrible it's so thin and gets stained by everything milk and saliva seemed to be the worst it was disgusting. The mattress is also very thin and hard. We got about 3 months of use out of ours before the side collapsed totally so had to throw it out.

But my mum has the same one and hers is still on the go with her twins having slept in it plus my son sleeping in it occassionally too so it can't be that bad we might just have been unlucky.

This travel cot has been everywhere with us, and compared with some that we have used it is very sturdy and well made. It packs down easily into the carry case, the handle is good for lifting and carrying and the whole thing is strong enough to endure many car and plane journeys. The only negative point is that the clips are sometimes hard to lock in when I put it up. I don't know whether this is just mine, or it is a general problem.

Garbage - it is not a travelcot, it is a portable cot

The difference is that this is so heavy you can carry nothing else in that hand when you unload the car (i.e. too heavy to take on holiday with us). It is a normal cot, that collapses/assembles within 5 mins. Stick to Nomad/ Littlelife/ Samonsite or the best: Bushbaby if you want a cot to go travelling with

this was a great, good value cot for us. easy to put up and not too heavy.
