Mothercare Bassinet

Particularly useful during the first few months: "I had it up permanently downstairs, so during the daytime I didn't have to go upstairs to change my baby or put her to sleep". "The bassinet saves all that bending and rocks beautifully when they kick" and the changing mat is a space saver. "Good value for money" and "very sturdy" it falls down on portability, but "comes into its own later as a playpen!"

Excellent to use from birth until toddler as has two levels. Also changing station which is handy. Is quite difficult to assemble though and you need to be strong to carry it around as it is very heavy.

The bassinet is so handy for little ones because they are not lost right at the bottom of the cot and you can check on them easily. My daughter slept in this as her main bed until she was 4 months old. The flip top changing mat is great whilst travelling and saved lots of aching backs.

Was bought this as a gift from work colleagues and it was an excellent choice. It is very heavy to carry around which is a real negative. But the features of the bassinet and change mat redeem it.

Weighs a tonne but lovely when its up. Pretty complicated to assemble (admittedly only done it a couple of times) and still not worked out how to collapse it!
