we had one of these,it was great for all of 5 minutes! the noises started to go all funny even after we chnaged the batteries. it is cute and fun to play with, perhaps ours was just a faulty one.

We bought our 9 month old a Baby Tad - she completely loves him! Has spent many a moment giggling hysterically at his singing! He's also really useful before bedtime with his 'night time' mode. Perfect to have on in the background while getting her dressed after her bath. Having read previous reviews before buying, we were pleasantly surprised that he didn't have an annoying American accent - just sounded like a little frog (generic accent!).

Suitable from 6 months, this is a lovely soft toy which also helps with learning.

"Baby Tad is a cuddly baby frog with coloured shapes on its tummy that flash when it sings and talks". It has the option of classical melodies which is "great for sending them off to sleep". "Although the voice is slightly annoying to grown-ups, it never fails to delight our six month old, who gives a huge smile and kicks her legs whenever she sees or hears it". "My one year old daughter loves dancing to the songs and my two year old loves trying to sing along and do the actions to go with them".

I think Baby Tad is meant for children from 6 months old but my four month old son loves it and when all else fails to placate him, my husband uses Baby Tad as a sure bet to calm my son.
