Ikea Patrull Fast

Looks good, easy to use and, as it opens completely (i.e. not a little gate in the middle), there's no bar at the bottom to trip over! Good value for money too.

It does need to be screwed into the wall though (unless we've missed something another reviewer has hit on!).

Doing what Ikea does best - cheap, reliable no frills. It's a great stair gate that can be fixed up to a width of 111cm which is a lot wider than most others on the market. At £25 (or £18 if you join family club) it is great value for money! Oh and it doesn't need to be screwed into the wall - meaning that you wont need to replaster in 3 years!
