We spent an amazing week at Chalet Morin over Easter this year. We travelled with five families (12 kids) which we were all a bit apprehensive about but our unease was totally unfounded largely because of the fabulous chalet and hosts. A chef came and cooked us a hearty breakfast before we set off for the slopes. We returned each day to cake and coffee, then relaxed whilst the kids ate and then sat down to some really good meals whilst the kids played. There was a huge dining area of the sitting room that easily seated our whole group plus and enormous living room, complete with big open fireplace. The living room lead out to a hot tub in the garden which would have been amazing had it not been for the dozen kids diving in and out !! (they loved it) As well as the 'adult' sitting room, there was also a big sitting room for the kids, complete with DVD player, computer and X-Box/PS2 plus a huge games room in the basement with table tennis, darts etc. The garden was enormous and a great place for the kids to let off steam post-ski. The bedrooms were all comfortable and tidied each day by our fabulous hosts, Jay and Jo, who the kids loved and even took it upon themselves to babysit for the 12 kids one eve.

We drove each day to Lindermonts for ski-ing. This was perfect for us - the more experienced ski-ers in the group were happy with the trickier runs and there were lots of long blues for the less experienced of us. We skied into Switzerland one day. The little kids went to Club piou piou - all part of ESF which had mixed reviews - the older kids who moved on quickly loved it but the little kids did tend to do the same thing each day and the ski instructors don't tend to show much compassion ! It worked for us but if you're child is not very confident, it may be worth looking around.
