We had a fantastic time, although doing it again I would have waited longer as our youngest son is a bit too young. Expensive but so much fun, easy to get to, and everything is made possible. I speak French so probably got a bit more of the services, but the staff was friendly and spoke good English.

Had a great time in the Easter holidays. Stayed in Cheyenne Hotel which was basic but brilliant. Ate breakfast outdoors in the western square.

Disney Studios was great fun too. The Car stunt show was worth the whole ticket price!

Went with 2 boys - 7 and 3. Great age to enjoy it all. Recommend hiring a buggy - both boys fit in and helped when they were exhausted.

I've now done Disneyland Hotel and Dream Castle on two differen tholidays and believe that Disneyland Hotel is definitely worth the extra (although you do have to take a huge swig of alcohol before confirming your booking - the rate is eye-watering compared to the other hotels).

Sheer convenience though makes it fab. It is really quiet despite being at the entrance and is very much a '5-star' standard - excellent service, large rooms, good food.

The swimming pool was very cold and very deep but it opened up onto lovely grounds so was still nice to come back to after a morning in the park.

If you can't afford this hotel, then go to one of the others and you will still have an amazing time. But if you can afford the differential then it is a no-brainer. Genuine 5-star feel, good buffet breakfast, no buses to get round, and access to the park an hour before it opens. Worth the extra in my view.

Very central, good for meeting characters, poor facilties for small children (they couldn't reach toilets or sinks etc...) expensive but wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I wasn't sure when booking whether to book the Disneyland hotel or spend several hundred euro less and stay at the New York or Newport. But as it was very off peak in January when we went, I booked the Disneyland hotel and got a great deal (?812 for 3 nights B & B). If we go back, which we will hopefully, I would definitely stay there again. As other reviewers mention, the location is superb and the hotel itself is lovely. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, standard of housekeeping and cleanliness is excellent and the staff are lovely. Food is not great and room-service food was pretty poor. But there's a huge selection at the breakfast buffet and you're quite safe with fruit, pastries and cereals. You can take some rolls etc. for later in the day and fill up juice bottles to take with you also. You can meet characters outside the restaurant at breakfast time and if you're getting pics taken, try do a few characters over a 2 day period because the more pics you buy, the cheaper the unit price, and the shop keeps them for 48 hours. Dinner is expensive but was worth it as the characters come into the restaurant and come round the tables. Overall, whilst it is a lot more expensive than the other hotels in the resort, I do think it's worth every penny. We visited the New York hotel and it also seemed nice and, in fact, it has a much better pool but it lacked the magic of the Disneyland hotel.
