I absolutley love my Mura 3, and would highly recommend it to most people. My son is now 6 months old and I have used it most days since he was born. We have recently moved onto the pushchair seat from the carrycot/ car seat and I am just as pleased with this.
Below are the pros and cons I personally have found with it.
Pros:
1. Very easy to fold up and down, even with the pushchair attached. This does take a few practise gos but once you get the hang of it, it is very straight forward.
2. Robust tires. We go out for daily walks, usually an hour or more and I have found this system an absolute delight to push. I have never had any problems with punctures or issues with the tires at all, and we have been over some rough terrain. The only thing I can't attest to yet is how well it performs in ice and snow as I have only had it since May.
3. Great for carrying shopping. You won't get the weekly shop in there or anything, but it has a good size basket that accomodates the rain cover and leaves plenty room for anything you might pick up in town. I have also found with the weight of it I can get a good few bags on the handle with pram hooks without risking it tipping.
4. Folds down well to fit in the car. This is a big, bulky system. There is no getting around that, and I will get onto the cons I have found with that in a minute. However, I have not had an issue with getting it into my car. I drive a Peugoet 206, so not the smallest boot out there, but not a milion miles away from it either. I have to remove the parcel shelf, but without the pushchair attachment I can get it in without removing the wheels, and with the attachment it fits easily with one wheel removed. The wheels are very easy to remove and replace by pushing in a button. The only issue occurs on dank rainy days where they are likely to get dirty. However, I always have plenty of baby wipes to clean up after, and would use alcohol gel after touching the wheels were they visibly dirty or not, so it's not a huge issue for me. There is also still space in the boot for shopping
5. Comfort. It is very well padded and lined, and my son appears to be very comfortable in it. There is good head support in the pushchair attachment and it reclines. It doesn't go totally flat but very close to it, and he is quite happy in there whenever he falls asleep when we are out.
6. Forward and parent facing pushchair. This is my current favourite thing about the system. My son like facing outward and seeing what is going on in the world. However, when he gets tired and grumpy, he just wants to look at Mummy and Daddy. The pushchair attachment can be turned around easily at any point to allow him to face us when this happens. I wouldn't attempt it with baby in the seat, so it's not as handy when I'm on my own, but when there is someone there to hold him, or somewhere to set him down while I do it, this is an invaluable plus to this system.
7. Value for Money. We paid just over £480 for ours, including the Pebble car seat. Compared to some of the other systems we looked at this was an absloute bargin, and you could probably get a better deal if you are willing to buy online. We wanted to buy from a shop as we had no previous experience with prams and wanted to be able to thourghly examine it and go back to the shop for advise if we had any issues.
Cons. as I have said, I love this system, but, as with anything, it has a few downsides.
1. It is big and heavy. This is good for sturdiness, but not so great if you live in a small house or flat, or above ground level. I also find it quite awkward to lift in and out of the car with the pushchair attachment on. This is mainly because I am 5"4 and have the upper body strength of a 10 year old. If you are a bit taller, and actually excercise it probably won't be a problem for you. Even with my pathetic fitness level, it is not too difficult, just a bit heavier than I would probably prefer. I don't take it out in the car often, so this doesn't really bother me, but if you are likely to be out in the car regularly it may affect you more
2. Width. This, to be honest, is my biggest bugbear with the system. I live in a 15 year old, pretty standard house and it just fits through our inner doorframes by a hair. If you have narrow doors, there is a chance it won't fit. It can also be an issue in shops as it can make it difficult to negotiate narrower aisles.
3. The handle to adjust the seat recline on the pushchair. This does recline well, but I find the handle quite fiddly and not as easy to use or as high quality as the rest of the pushchair. It isn't easy to lift out and click back in once reclined without jostling my son. This isn't great when I am trying to recline it when he has fallen asleep.
4. The instructions. I found these difficult to follow as they consisted of pictures and diagrams. However, the system is very easy to work so we were able to fathom it out without too much difficulty.
In summary, this is a great system, and if you are on the fence, I would recommend it. However, take into account where you live and what kind of car you drive as if you live in a third story flat and drive a Matiz, this is definitley not for you.

We returned the Maxi Cosi Mura 3 to Boots yesterday and have today collected a Phil & Teds Explorer which is superior in every way. In short the Maxi Cosi was of shocking quality - cheap plastic joints that over time (8 months) become loose and snapped in and out of place - quite alarming when you have an 8 month old with exploring little fingers. This pushchair may look a la mode but if you want an all terrain vehicle this is not for you. We mostly use a baby carrier but on pram walks this just wasn't up to it. The pushchair is very bulky, the whole contraption wobbles and it creaks. Our ratings are as compared to the new pram.

I LOVE THIS PRAM!!!
I have a toddler and now a 7 month old baby. I used the Mura 3 with my first child- the carseat, hard carrycot and buggy seat and I am now using it with my 2nd baby. I also bought the footmuff and have been stopped many times from envious mums wanting their own.
I have had 1 puncture in the 3 years we've owned it and even then it wasn't a big deal as it comes with a pump or you can go to any petrol station and pump it up until you get home. I took it to a bike shop and they fixed it for £5. You can just inject the puncture gel which stops them from re-occuring. We have been on country walks and rough terrain too. I have used it pretty much every day since my first baby was born and it's still got lots of use left yet- hopefully for a third baby!
I have a bad back and the air tyres mean that the pushing strain is alleviated as I live on a hill and so have to push it uphill. Any other pram I've used has been a killer. I now have a buggy board attatched too and still find it great to manoever (obviously more difficult than when she's not on it but still manageable).
It is bulky and wider than other prams but I get public transport and so can feel confident it's not going to topple etc. The wheels come off easily so getting it into cars has never been an issue and we've had 6 cars in the last 3 years. when shopping it is wide and so cramped shops are difficult but the manoverability is excellent so I can do a full circle with one hand and reverse etc so not really a bid deal.
I have 2 sister in laws and a sister who all have little babies/toddlers and they love this pram and kick themselves that they didn't get one as theirs have disappointed them. One has the bugaboo and said that this is as good as and better but lots cheaper.
I highly reccoment it for the majority but agree that it's not ideal if you live up stairs in an apartment.

This pushchair is lovely and comfy, easy to use (if I can fold it down, anyone can - I am a total technophobe) and good value for money - especially from kiddicare.
However, I've been using it for 3 months and I'm on my 3rd puncture, which is a pain. Also, it's very wide - not great for getting round shops. I use it for the school run, for which it's ideal, but I could really do with another pushchair for shopping and in the car. Folded down it takes up the entire boot!

We love our mura 3, we bought it for our first baby and were quite nervous about what we were going to get for our money but it has been worth every penny.
We got the hard pram body to go with it and my daughter and I are out with it almost every day. We have had the pram up and down the beach and the large wheels work really well, we've not had and punctures yet.
It is a bit heavy and is quite large when folded unless you take the wheels off, but this is quick and easy to do. The pram body also collapses down to make it easy to cart around.
Sometimes getting the cabriofix car seat on to the chassis is a bit of a faff but my husband can do it with no problems so that's probably because I'm a bit short and can't see what I'm doing.
