I thoroughly enjoy using my iCandy Apple. I find it easy to put up and down (which takes away some hassle, essential as a first-time mum).

The seat is so roomy and my daughter seems very comfortable in it. The swing-away bumper bar makes getting my 2 year old in and out a breeze, and the shopping basket below is a good size.

Also, the handle bar is adjustable to suit the 6'2" hubby so there's no excuse for kicking the frame. I find the stroller so well designed - up to the rubber stopper that prevents the chassis from being scratched when you fold it down to the floor!

I find the stroller very practical and accommodating to our lifestyle. to and it was very easy to push and steer. It does feel quite heavy and you cant really steer round corners one-handedly. Have to acknowledge though that this was designed to support two children should you need/wish to add the extra bits! If I were buying another buggy, I would definitely buy the Apple rather than my own buggy - purely because it was so easy to put up and down.

Only additional gripe is that I wish the canopy didn't come separately. But I do love the colour variety.

I have had my apple for almost a year now and am still extremly happy with it. I am currently 7 months pregnant with my second, and looking into buying the pear converter to turn it into a double. Thought I'd have my say and I fear the apple isn't being wholly appreciated in the way it should!

There is a knack to collapsing the apple, and it is quite a heavy chassis. The grandparents really cant get to grips with the design, but for my personal use I've had no qualms whatsoever. It has a fantastic shopping basket, durable and suitable for country walks and rough terrain, fits through single doors a treat and folds neatly into the boot of our polo. Furthermore, I've had no end of compliments and comments on how comfortable our baby Joseph looks in it!

In general I'd say it requires care and upkeep like most things in life. The foam has split but has been easily replaced by the store - a lesson learned to keep an eye on teething children. Also, if it sticks I was advised silicon spray is the best, mess-free method of getting it folding smoothly once again.

I have no regrets in investing in an apple, particularly now I can continue to use it with the new comer in future (as well as have a play around with colours/flavours). Pricey, but worth it.

Summary: Fantastic Stroller

We brought the icandy over 3 years ago for my daughter when she out grow the mamas and papas pramette. I didn't like the fack that she wouldn't be facing me. My friend was looking at the icandy, and i hadn't heard of it before. As soon as we had seen it we liked it. we were going to to go for the cherry, but then on discovery , we found out that you could upgrade to a double pushchair. Which I thought was great, as we wanted to have a smallish gap between children. So we brought the apple and loved it may 6 month looked really comfy in it. Then I found out that i was pregnant again, and then brought the upgrade to the pear. That was lovely, just found it a bit heavy. Both children looked really comfy in it. But really only lasted for a year, shame. Now my son is in it and still using it every day 3 and half years later!! Coulld do with a service now though. It has been my best baby purchase out of every thing.

When we were choosing prams it was between the iCandy Apple Jogger or the Quinny Buzz and we ended up going for the iCandy. Overall we are happy with our Apple Jogger, it's spacious, easy to handle (most of the time) and our daughter Amoura seems to be very happy in it. One of the reasons we chose this travel system was because it was an all terrain and therefore meant it would be suitable for taking the dog on decent walks, it's been on quite a few walks already from gentle strolls through the park to an off road adventure in the woods and it's still going strong. The carrycot is a very decent size and we decided to use it as Amoura's bed rather than buying a moses basket/ crib until she goes into her cotbed.

However there are a few downsides to the chassis, it's very heavy and getting it in and out of the car can be a pain 'in the back' if you don't remember to lift it correctly, making sure that you bend those knees etc etc. The basket is a little on the small side. After a few weeks of use the front wheel decided to stop rotating and needed a little spritz of WD40 to get it going again. These are only small niggles which have not dampened our iCandy experience. We have only been using the pram for 3 months but so far I would recommend the Apple to annyone.
