Please Please Please BE AWARE of the warranty's offered on the Silver Cross Classic Sleep over.

In my excitment I bought and paid for my classic sleep over pram and left it on at the shop until just before my son was born. This was a BIG MISTAKE. The warranty on the pram is 12 months and it starts from when you buy the pram not from when you start using it.

So when my wheels rusted after seven months of use Silver Cross woudln't hep me and told I will have to pay for new wheels as the warranty expired.

I love the pram and although my son was only 6lb 2oz when born he soon grew and became bigger than all his friends. He's 13 months now and there is still plenty of room in the pram.

Until my wheels rusted it looked great and I was often complimented. I'm not sure why the wheels rusted I have walked by the sea a bit we went on hols to ST Ives, but really I am disappointed that the pram wasn't more durable :(

A luxurious pram that looks amazing. Have received several compliments when pushing it around. My baby loves it. As a winter baby I wanted to make sure she would be warm and comfy and she was. After six months moved it to seat position rather than flat cot bed.

Downside is that it is huge! A 4x4 of prams, but that's also what attracted me. Wheels are not able to swivel so tricky / heavy to manoeuvre. Haven't made use of the sleepover carry cot as already bougt Moses basket which is a shame. Can also get a bit too warm in summer due to all the padding.

We have the classic chassis and it fits in the boot of the car just about. But we have a smallish boot as convertible car.

Came with cost toes, changing bag, rain cover.

Love, love, love it. Although a little impractical, it's so safe and comfy for my daughter. We bought the sugared almond one and the design is gorgeous.

I LOVE THIS PRAM!!!!

Having 2 teenage daughters and a teenage stepdaughter, finding out that another was on the way was a huge shock to the system, but when I got my head around it my first thought about a pram was Silver Cross. A bit old fashioned I know but they have never let me down yet.

I like the classic chassis as it looks substancial, and it is, great suspension plenty of space underneath for shopping bags and a nice bounce to help baby get to sleep.

I know that some say it is heavy and compared to some with a plastic chasis it probably is but this will last forever.

As far as Grace is concernet she loves it.

We used it in moses basket mode for almost 4 months and she is the first of my children ever to sleep a whole night in one,(every night, all night until she outgrew it).

Regular very long sleeps in it as a pram and she loves sitting up in it watching the world go by. I have only just put it into buggy mode tonight but I really do not see any problems with it as it still lies down completely flat for a good sleep but will be much more comfortable for her to sit up in and watch the world go by.

I do not drive at all but daddy does and we have no problems with fitting the pram into the boot, we do have a substancial boot but not huge. I walk a fair bit but do get the bus a lot and apart from the usual issues of getting onto the bus when it is really busy the pram fits lovely onto any bus and also into the pram space on the bus.

I would not swap this pram for anything and I am sure that Grace would make her displeasure known if I ever tried to.

I bought this pram with this amazing illusion that I would get out for lots of walks with my baby and toddler. After using it for 3 months I have mixed feelings about this pram.

On the good side, its is so beautiful and luxurious and I always receive pleasant comments about it. The quality of it is second to none. My baby seems really comfortable and sleeps well in it. I used it as his moses basket for the first couple of months. It is lovely to push round. It came with the moses basket stand which was really useful to use in the house and also when on holiday. The shopping basket at the bottom is a very good size and will accommodate a good day's shopping.

On the bad side, it can be difficult to push round shops because it does not have swivel wheels and it is too large to get down smaller aisles or corners.

It weighs an absolute tonne and hurts my back to get in and out of the car and fitting it all together can be a big faff. It doesn't fold up small and so its difficult to fit in the back of my car, and I own a 4x4 which has a very large boot! This puts me off using it and I end up using my sling instead.

Even though I love the idea of this pram I have sold it because its just not practical for my life and I have bought something more lightweight and smaller.

This would be great for you if you walk everywhere and don't travel by car or on the bus and have plenty of room in your house to accommodate it.

I love this system although it has cost me a fortune because I bought both chassis (classic and linear, one for walking and the linear for shopping and when I need space in the boot. It is big and takes up a lot of room in the house although I have just got into a routine of folding it down as soon as we get home and putting it out of the way because it takes up too much space otherwise. My son loves it and it was so comfy when it was a pram when he was a small baby and it just as comfy now that we are using it as a pushchair because you can still lie it flat when baby falls asleep. The car seat clips straight onto both chassis's which was perfect when he was small as did not have to disturb when sleeping. Moses basket and stand is brilliant for downstairs although my son never slept well in it during the night. I would definitely recommend but would consider - the size of your car boot, if you have steps to negotiate as the system is heavy and the amount of space you have in your house as you needs lots!
