Got this as a replacement when our Mylo went in to be fixed and hated it! The pramette part was very snug around my 4 month old; had to squish him in. Also found it almost impossible to fold up and down again; kept getting stuck. Very light to steer which was nice but to me felt a tad flimsy. Not for us.

I got this Mamas & Papas Pramette Linear for my 3rd child Finley and he loves to sleep in the pram bit. He is too young for the pushchair bit, but my 4 year old loves looking at the stripes and finds it very comfy. I think it is a very easy pram/pushchair to put up and down and fits in the back of the car very quickly and easily for those rush hour moments. Overall sturdy and comfortable pramette/pushchair.

I have had the pliko pramette balmain for nearly three years now. My son still comfortable sits in it with plenty of room.
I've never experienced any problems with this pram. For the first year i used to take it on the bus and did a lot of walking. The pram folds up nice and small which gets smaller when converted to the pushchair. I have never yet come across a car which it will not fit into i have even managed to fit it behind the drivers seat of a three door seat ibiza before.
I also have the car seat with base but never used it on the pram because i was advised by the hv that they babies should not be left in car seats more than needed due to their backs.
The pram is easy and lightweight to carry however the car seat is slightly heavy if you have the base attached. I would encourage the base for the car seat if a three door car as so much easier to click in and secure each time.
i love this pram so much have not even considered a stroller as not much difference in weight if any and the steering is so much easier than a stroller.
The price of the pram is not the cheapest but with three years use already out of it and no damage at all a quick wipe down n wash n looks like brand new.
the design is also very modern which i love and the frame does not look cheap.

Love the colour city scape, Love the look of the pram. It is parent facing in pram mode and very comfy for small baby but only fits this way till my baby was 4 months old then had to change to buggy mode this is where the problems began the seat unit is too narrow when my 4 month old has his coat on he is crushed up and crys as he is uncomfotable. I feel it was a lot of money for something that lasted 4 months, have had to purchase a new buggy.

Don't buy this pram or the car seat system that goes with it. We made the big mistake when we did 14 months ago, and we paid a fortune for it.
1. We had to buy a moses basket mattress when it was in pram mode or our baby would not lie flat.
2. The Primo Viaggio car seat weighs a ton. Unless you are a weightlifter you will struggle to haul your baby in and out of the car. The locking mechanism for the isofix base and into the pushchair is unwieldy and frustrating.
3. Our son is now 13 months old and he cannot sit back in the pushchair because it is too narrow. His shoulders are squashed.
We bought the system because the shop assistants told us it was the only pram we'd need to buy, but to look at our son sitting in the pram, it is a joke to think that he will still fit it in 12 months time.
We have taken it to M&Ps twice and demonstrated it to the shop assistants. They said that our son will grow lengthways and not widthways (!) as he gets older and that if you push him back into the seat, he fits. I almost cried, and my son did too when squashed back into the seat. He wants to sit up all the time; the shop assistants said this is normal, but as soon as we put him in a Maclaren, he sat back because he had room to do so. M&Ps won't do anything to recompense us and we stuck with a pram that we can't use.
Some of these one-liners on this website about how great this system is must surely come from the manufacturer as it is a disaster from start to finish. Do yourself a favour and ask friends what they had, they won't say a Pliko Pramette and have a smile on their faces, that's for sure.
