Love it. We bought in July 2011 in the colour grape (a limited edition) because we were having a winter baby it's quite a good colour for hiding the mud.
We are currently still using the carrycot but it's great, really easy to push with one hand and walk the dog at the same time. The chassis is heavy but only about the same as the Oyster and lighter and more narrow than our friends Silvercross.
As the pram is small it's been great for restaurants and shopping as it does not take up too much space.
The only downside is the 2 small wheels catch leaves so you have to have gloves with you to pop the wheels out and bash free of leaves, only takes a second them and baby stays in the carrycot only 3 wheels.
Expensive but worth it and the re-sale value on Ebay seems good too!

Although the brake is set to its maximum position the pram is still moving. This can be a very dangerous when you are on a bus. On top of that the brake snapped recently! You would not expect it with a pram you spent so much money on.
I am wondering if there is also a manufacturing fault with the Bugaboo Cameleon (April 2008 production date). Although the brake is set to its maximum position the pram is still moving. On top of that the brake snapped recently! You would not expect it with a pram you spent so much money on. After all I am not too sure if I spent my money wisely.

I love the bugaboo chameleon and despite other reviews, i would say that it's very easy to put up and down (i'm 5.6) and not too big (it fits nicely in the boot of my ford focus with lots of room to spare).
On the down side, the basket is small and awkward to access when the carrycot or car seat is attached to the frame.

I bought the bugaboo red denim (it's a limited edition) in Nov 2009 for my DD, partly because I am half Dutch and wanted to be patriotic and partly as a lot of my friends had one in the UK.
1. I was very disappointed that I can't have it as a seat and as a carry cot, it's either or.
2. It's terrible to fold up if you are small. Taller people find it easier.
3. It's very heavy.
5. It takes masses of space in the car, and we have a big car!
4. It broke whilst we were staying in the middle of nowhere in France, luckily we were with family and I could borrow another buggy.
It took weeks to get it mended when we did get back home.
5. All the major retailers in Denmark that are near to me, have stopped stocking bugaboo and, I have to travel to the other side of Copenhagen to visit one.
6. My daughter does like it though, I think she likes the upright position of the seat.
7. It's OK in the snow too.
8. Stupidly expensive as well!
Would I buy again, no way... I've bought another buggy, which i'm much happier with the City Jogger Mini.
