I love my gecko! The things I like is the fact you can have baby facing or not, the ease of pushing the pram, the basket is big so you can fit lots on! The brake is easy to use and it's on handle so easy! No scuffed shoes! The wheels come off easily so if you have a small boot you can fit in! Matching accessories r expensive but add colour and individuality! Raincover is compact! The negatives is that you have to take the seat unit off when collapsing! Also the handle bar not adjustable which didn't cause me a problem but may b an issue! The carrycot I felt wasn't cushioned enough or cost enough! The material is rough so kept the bottom of the cosytoes on! And to recline I had to put hand under seat unit which if shopping was in basket it caused a problem! And the hood was a bit of a nightmare cos you can't move it up or down which means that when child gets big you'll have to take it off!

My problem with the gecko is that it doesn't seem to sit up fully-my toddler won't sit in it as is always slightly reclined. The chameleon sits up far more and would have been a better buy. Also, at 2 years old she is already too tall for it and the hood skims her head when I put it up. Had to buy a Maclaren techno. Should have listened to other mumsnetters and just bought one of these from the start.

This buggy looks great, feels good and has fantastic suspension. The bad points worth considering are that:
1. its very difficult to take apart easily.
2. very expensive.
3. Too wide to fit on most public transport.
4. Too large to put into a standard sized car boot when folded, after a big shop.
5. can only be used with bugaboo accessories which are very expensive as well.
I loved it to pieces but i had to get a cheap stroller that folded up well for convenience.

I love my Gecko. It handles beautifully, and my daughter looks very comfortable. Every time I think of something I wish it did, I find that it does have that very function. The underseat bag is spacious and secure. We used the pram for six months, which was perfect and have now converted it (easily) to the pushchair. It is very light and we've had no trouble folding it. I frequently get compliments on it when out and about which is nice. However, I don't use public transport since I walk everywhere. I can imagine that it would be an utter nightmare to fold up on a bus. It doesn't fold down very small - we have a Nissan Primera and it takes up most of the boot space. Again, I don't drive so this isn't an issue but it is worth thinking about.

I liked it until I used the bugaboo cameleion and I wished I had spent more money and got that.its fine and a fab little buggy but my little one was too big for it at 18m his he it the hood so I couldnt use the hood(had several people agree with me on this) and it seemed small for anything other than a young baby.having used the cameleeion I have since bought one of those and love it.fab for older toddlers and if I had my time again I would have just got one of those as they also keep their money value on ebay alot more than the gecko! which I sold far too cheap!although if buying second hand remember the 2 yr guarentee isnt valid if you havent bought it from a store brandnew
